Preparations for each Against the Tide event are well under way. There are only few weeks left before the first Against the Tide at Hopkinton State Park, Hopkinton, MA on June 20th!
On Tuesday, May 12th, there was a free swim clinic held at Cape Cod YMCA for individuals willing to participate in Against the Tide.
And on Saturday, May 16th, there were two free kayak clinics held at Outdoor Recreation, Hopkinton State Park for registered participants of Against the Tide.
UPCOMING AGAINST THE TIDE CLINICS:
There will be two free kayak clinics on Sunday, May 31st, 3-6pm, at Plum Island Kayak (38R Merrimack St., Newburyport, MA) OR Salem Kayak (Willows Park, Salem, MA). Please call or email to register: ndaddario@yahoo.com or 339-927-4275.
There will be a free kayak clinic on Friday, June 12th, 5-6pm for beginners OR 6-7pm for experienced (bring your own gear), at Goose Hummock Shop (Route 6A, Orleans, MA). please call Goose Hummock at 508-255-2620 to register for clinic.
And lastly, there will be a free swim clinic on Thursday, June 18th, 5:30-6:30pm, at Cape Cod YMCA (Rt. 132, West Barnstable, MA). To register for the swim clinic, please email Ali: alicat44@comcast.net.
